Requirements to rent a Car

 

A Valid Driver’s License from your home country. (Virtual Driver's License/renewals are not accepted).
Your license must be in Roman Alphabet, otherwise you require an International Driving Permit. A Valid Physical Credit Card (Virtual Cards Not Accepted). Both Credit Card and Driver's License must be under the same name as reservation. Security deposit: The car rental supplier will hold a deposit to your credit card. This amount will be realesed after the rental is completed, if no additional services are accepted. The amount will vary depending on the comPortuguêspany and the destination. The minimum age to rent a car in the USA or Europe is 20 years.

Drivers between the ages of 20-24 years must pay a surcharge in excess of $25/day. (Some companies offer promotions which reduce or limit the surcharge)
