Mt. Fuji

Mt. Fuji is the highest mountain with 3776 meters in Japan. It is affectionately called "Fujisan".  It is a National Park and the World Heritage.

Fujisan is the symbol of Japanese beaty and it's been drawn by famous Ukiyoe by Hokusai Katsushika, painted on the walls of many Japanese public baths and printed on the 1,000 yen bill!
Perfectly shaped Mt. Fuji is always worshiped as a sacred mountain among Japanease people throughout the centuries.
It is about 90 minuites drive and if you drive from Tokyo on Tomei Expressway, you see Mt. Fuji when you are still in Tokyo! 

Mt. Fuji is open for climing on foot during July and August and many climbers admire the Goraiko, the view of the sunrise from the summit.
