The West End is also home to a touristic and cultural complex, popular because of it’s businesses, restaurants, and nightclubs. Here you’ll also find the West End Market, an ex-factory that now holds clothing and jewelry shops.
Nature lovers are obliged to drive their rental cars along Highway 35 East to the Dallas Arboretum, where the Zoo is located. The Zoo was founded in 1888 and is the biggest in Texas, with a wide variety animals distributed in 2 areas, ZooNorth and The Wilds of Africa.
